Counsel for an employee in a New Jersey federal wage case resulting in a judgment that included $81,703.14 in compensatory and liquidated damages, plus court-awarded fees and costs.

UNANIMOUS

Appellate affirmance

Defended a worker’s unpaid-wage case on appeal after the employer sought counterclaims and broad personal discovery. The First Department unanimously affirmed the rulings in the worker’s favor, with costs.

2ND CIRCUIT

Complex federal appeal

Represented an employee in wage-and-hour and discrimination litigation involving foreign-sovereign immunity. The district court awarded $138,990.33 in damages and $51,852.91 in interest before the appellate court vacated the jurisdictional ruling and remanded for further fact-finding.
